“When our new condominium was being worked on and was not inhabitable, we looked for a comfortable, convenient place to stay. We wanted a place that would be comfortable for us--and our two cats--to live in for at least several weeks. We found just such a place--Ocean Inn on Hollywood Beach. The location at the beach was great, the accommodations were comfortable, the price was affordable, and the staff was warm and friendly. Teacher by 7Song, August 2, 2008 I stayed at the Ocean Inn a number of times while teaching in the area. The thing I probably like the most is the size and personal touches. While it may not have all the flourishes of a larger fancier motel, it more than makes up for this with it's charm and the way one can tell that it is family run. And there is the obvious appeal of being right near the beach. I enjoyed my time there and am glad to lend my 'best of rating' to this fine establishment

The location is great, rooms are neat & well-appointed, courtyard is as friendly as the staff & fellow guests. And the bed was SOOOO comfortable I wanted to take it home with me!

Both staff and owner, Scott Rivelli, epitomize southern hospitality at its finest. The studios, efficiencies and rooms are clean, whimsically decorated and caringly maintained. The courtyard is cozy and private for relaxation and lazy afternoons. It would be a shame to miss an opportunity to stay awhile at this lovely intimate inn. Jag kan varmt rekomendera detta hemtrevliga hotel som ligger pa den norra och tysta delen av Hollywood beach, mellan Fort Lauderdale och Miami. Ocean Inn ar ett mycket mysigt och personligt hotel,som inkluderar latt frukost. Rummmen ar enkla, trevligt dekorerade och valdigt renstadade. Man kanner sig valkommen med detsamma och far snabbt vanner av personalen och stammgaster som kommer ar efter ar. Hollywood beach ar en enormt vacker badstrand, mycket personlig och en lang boardwalk med massor av restauranger och sma affarer med utsigt over havet. Ocean Inn personalen ar mycket hjalpsam med rekomendationer pa dags utflykter, strand- aktiviteter och restaurant rekomendationer. Ha en toppen semester! Med vanlig halsning! anette
Former Student by Jan F., August 1, 2008 The rooms are clean and well set up with many thoughtful touches. Location is great - right on the Broadwalk and is a great area for walking. The exceptional staff and owners are right on site and are so friendly and helpful - they made me feel right at home while I stayed there. Make a reservation there for your next trip - you'll be delighted you did!!!

Happy Hollywood Vacationer by Bob Lubart, July 29, 2008 For a great many of the 25 years that my wife and I lived in Hollywood, near TY Park, when we would vacation, or just want to extend a long weekend into a mini vacation, we would travel all the way to Hollywood Beach (4.7 miles, I believe) and have spent many of those times at the Ocean Inn. I'm sure that might sound ridiculous to a great many people. Of course they have no love of Hollywood Beach, and have NEVER stayed at the OCean Inn. They work hard to deliver, and it's not just a matter of opinion, their history supports my opinion.

It is well managed and absolutely clean and tidy. The owners are friendly and are willing to work with you and your schedule in any way possible. It's a short few steps to the beach and all that Hollywood Beach has to offer. I would recommend this award winning establishment to anybody.

Not only is it just feet away from the best stretch of beach, the rooms are spacious and feel like a home away from home. And, best of all the staff and owners are so friendly and knowledgable about the area and will be able to recommend all the best places to go..both on the beaten path and off! Two HUGE thumbs up!!

This creates an atmosphere that allows the guests to feel relaxed and worry free. The lovely grounds, along with the relaxed feeling one gets from the other guests and staff, produces a laid-back, tropical feel that lends it’s self to the “beach feeling” everyone is looking for. I commend the staff on providing such a clean environment; the place was spotless, which is not easy being so close to the beach! I would recommend any of my family or friend to stay at this enchanting inn.

This hotel has the best management, best amenities, is immaculately clean and the location is wonderful. The service is great and staff are very happy and very friendly. I hope to return again soon. The accommodations were stellar, and the staff was more than happy to exceed your expectations! It was a real family type of atmosphere, and the breakfast muffins were really yummy!!! The location was a minutes walk from Hollywood's beautiful beach and broadwalk! I cannot recommend this place enough!!

I have visited the Ocean Inn many times over the past 5 years and everytime I arrive I feel as though I am arriving at a friends home. I have been visiting Hollywood, Florida for 20 years and of all the places I have stayed this hotel has the best management, cleaning services and atmosphere of all of them. The service you get for the price you pay is amazing and I have a 3 year old and they were extrememly accomidating. This hotel is a must stay!!

Simply the Best by Laura Michelle, July 16, 2008 I just got back from a great trip to Hollywood Beach Florida, which is between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. If any of you get a chance you might want to check this place out. I don’t normally write like this, but I had such good experiences I wanted to share. The beaches are nearly empty and are like those in the backdrops for fashion models, and it has a boardwalk for a couple of miles. I stayed at a great place called the Ocean Inn (www.YourBeachlnn.com ). They were very friendly and extremely helpful. I block from the beach, great courtyard and landscaping, light breakfast, phenomenal room they up-graded me to, let me into my room early when my plane arrived at 6am, and they even printed my airline boarding passes when I was leaving. The best New York style pizza is at Angelo’s, a good walk from the Ocean Inn. Real close by to my room was the Oceans Eleven at the Beach resturant and bar ( it’s been there since about the time of the original movie and it must have been before they copyrighted everything). It has a deck on the beach and boardwalk, and maybe the best biscuits and sausage gravy on the planet. They also make good omlets and fish and chips. Huge and great hamburgers were found at “the Tub”, facing the intercoastal waterway, and a block from the beach. They’ve been “discovered” so go for a big lunch to avoid the lines. I was traveling with Alex and found the science museum and IMAX in Ft Lauderdale a big hit with him, Also we took a boat tour with a small outfit ( “Out of Control II”, it was North of Sheridan if you golooking for it) who let Alex steer/pilot for a small stretch (with supervision), It was the best part of the trip for him

Steps to beach and handy for all the local offerings, I am a walker who loves the convenience of the “Broadwalk” Obviously it’s not the Sheraton nor claims to be, however there is a nice ambiance to the place and value for money. The Manager at the time (Sherley I believe, strangely spelled) was a friendly helpful individual who led a small team that ensured a clean friendly environment. Should I be visiting the area again I would not hesitate to stay here. Alan Martin
Fantastic Little Hotel!! by howard, July 15, 2008 This place was a fantastic surprise. You feel like you are part of the family from the second you step foot in the tropical courtyard. Staff couldn't be any nicer or more accomodating. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and reasonable. I'm now a repeat visitor to this little jewel of a hotel.

Shirley et al provided wonderful service, beautifully decorated, spotless clean and steps from the beach and the terrace was a wonderful place to chill out and spend time reading a book. highly recommended...
